Mark & Gary in Ward's Grill in Saluda, NC. Fueling up before our recording session.

Mark & Gary at Saluda Outfitters in Green River Eddy's. This photo became the shot for our logo.
Our podcast logo. You'll see that it took the the original photo, reserved our positions, removed the t-shirt, etc. We didn't do it. We think it was someone in India.
We hit the Trifecta of podcasting distribution on July 7 when Spotify joined iTunes and Google Play. We're also on Stitcher and some other great places.

Green River Eddy's Tap Room located in Saluda Outfitters supplied us with cue cards so that we could get their name straight. It helps a little.
The first photo received from an owner of a Rabbit Island Resort membership -- or at least owner of the decal. This truck is all the way out in Wyoming.
We're excited that Saluda Outfitters, home of Green River Eddy's Tap Room & Grill, jumped on board as a major sponsor in August 2019.
Folks have been sending in photos of the Rabbit Island Resort decal on their cars...but this is the first "Mug Shot" we've received.
Who would have thought such a low-budget operation as ours would have a Research & Development Team. This is the head of that team, Howard, scratching his head trying to help us choose a possible on-the-road location for an episode. He's also checking out the beverage menu. He likes to multi-task.
Even kids like "The Gary & Mark Show." This is Axel with his RI sticker on his laptop. He's probably binge listening to all our episodes. Or, he could be applying to "The Gary & Mark Podcasting University." A BS would look good hanging on his bedroom wall or locker at school.
The Watershed Middle School Band recorded "Pomp & Circumstance" for the Gary & Mark Podcasting University Commencement Ceremony.
In late August we added this to our studio. It's a RØDECaster Pro and lets us record our entire show on the fly including sound effects, intro music, etc. We can also bring in a couple of phone interviews.
Don Silleman (center) was recruited to be the University's first Athletic Director. We hadn't planned on having a sports program at G & M PU, but the demand was high.
Chuck Hearon (left) with Gary and Mark. Chuck was our guest for an episode posted 9/21/19 to chat about his 2,200 mile thru-hike on the Appalachian Trail. It was about this time 20 years ago that Chuck was finishing this amazing experience.
Gary's hat is off to Chuck Hearon. Chuck was the very first recipient of an Honorary BS in Podcasting (with extra honors) presented by The Gary & Mark Podcasting University.
Exciting news today. Gary & Mark have closed on a building adjacent to campus to house our new athletics department. This first building will have offices for our AD Don Silleman as well as rooms for our trainer, visiting coaches, porta-potty, and legal counsel. Baby steps but we're getting there.
Mark and Gary hard at work or hardly working? Having fun for sure recording an episode at "The Sanctuary Brewing Company" in Hendersonville, NC.
The one-of-a-kind Rabbit Island Resort decals keep showing up. Gary spotted this one at the Sanctuary Brewing Company in Hendersonville.
I don't know how Gary does it. Each time we go somewhere to record a podcast he always manages to find one of our now-famous Rabbit Island Resort decals plastered somewhere. I'll go look for souvenirs and the minute I come back he's found a new one. We must have fans everywhere! We were at Oskar Blues Brewery in Brevard this fine day to sit down with our guest, Perry Jones, from the Muddy Sneakers program. You'll hear about that in our next episode dropping on November 11.
Gary and Mark at Camp Mondamin. That's the famous tower in the background. If you squint you might get a glimpse of Rabbit Island out there in the lake.
Rabbit Island Resort decals are still being spotted around the region...and the US. This one was discovered just the other day in Hendersonville, not far from Watershed. February 2020.
Spryng Briggs, GMPU Triathlon Dean, is out for a run with her trainees.
Demand for admissions into the Gary and Mark Podcasting University is so strong we've had to open a Clairmont neighborhood office. Check out the signage near the main entrance.

Myth Busters! In today's video, we're going to set the record straight. We do understand that lots of folks don't listen to an actual podcast episode because they have some fears. After you watch this short tutorial, you'll have the confidence to start enjoying life again!
As Gary is inside our new GMPU Athletic Department offices working hard on renovations, Mark was outside calling universities attempting to line up some teams to play this season. We figure win or lose, we'd get a nice check. It didn't go quite as planned.
The Gary & Mark Show has BIG news coming your way on Tuesday. Get a preview now and then be sure to check the newest podcast that drops on Tuesday.
The Gary & Mark Podcasting University is having growing pains. We've been talked into starting a sports program and here's our new Athletic Director, Don Silleman, giving us a few pointers.
Watch this video to see how you have a BS degree by tonight. And hey, we're a tuition-free university.
